  • Describes the process of loan structuring and funding requirements in a trading, manufacturing, capital investment from short-term and long-term financing requirements of a business environment.
  • Describes the importance the ability to identify credit risks from the clientele business may it be business or financial risks.
  • Does the loan structure match the business cycles and match the bank’s criteria from covenants, pricing structure, tenure, amount, repayment and collateral?
  • Measure, quantify and evaluate the actual borrowing needs of the client (lend them what they need as opposed to what they want).
  • Apply credit assessment :- It is a bankable credit? In areas of the following:-
    • Understand the difference between short, medium and long term loans and the risk profiles
    • Analyze the cash flows to sensitivity analysis – to determine the source of our repayment over the length of our loans and sustainability of repayment capability
